The Goldstein family, owners of Zemi Beach House, thank everyone for their heartfelt notes of concern and support. Zemi Beach House was fortunate to fare better than others, and everyone is safe. Our thoughts remain with our Anguillian and Caribbean friends and colleagues who suffered greater misfortune.
While we are still closed to make repairs we will keep you updated and let you know as soon as we can welcome you back.
In terms of the rest of our very special island, the government has announced that recovery is proceeding at an extraordinary pace. Phone and internet communications have been restored to most parts of Anguilla. Roads and beaches have been cleared, and many restaurants have reopened.
Regarding airlift, Seaborne Airlines has resumed service between Anguilla and San Juan, Antigua, St. Kitts, Nevis and St Thomas. Anguilla Air Services is operating between Anguilla and St. Kitts and Antigua.
Good news is that Chief Minister Victor Banks has announced that plans are in place for the expansion of Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport and the reconstruction of the Blowing Point ferry terminal.
Thank you again for your continued support. Stay safe and well.
